I found Brittany & The Makeup Lounge through Wedding Wire and other reviews, and I am so happy I did. I got married at Stonewall Estate in Delhi, NY and it being a "destination" wedding (most of my guests are from NYC area), I wasn't sure who to book as a "one stop shop" for both hair and makeup. After reading wonderful reviews, I booked The Makeup Lounge. From the beginning, Brittany was a true professional but also personable and quick to respond. My trial was great but also allowed me to think about what I liked and what I wanted to change, and on the day of my wedding when I change my look *slightly* from what I received at the trial, The Makeup Lounge knew exactly what I wanted tweaked and my hair & makeup were perfect! It's like they could read my mind. Brittany made the entire process easy for me as the bride, with detailed pamphlets on pricing, quick responses, and showing up on time and even a little early so they could get set up the morning of my wedding. By far one of the easiest vendors I booked and a wonderful and beautiful experience. Thank you for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day, The Make-up Lounge!

My husband and I first met Brittany and her team at a wedding show. Now first let me say I am not the best girl when it comes to makeup and hair, but I wanted to feel glamours on our wedding day. And to say the least Brittany and Val delivered. I trusted them completely to give me a look that would be timeless and photographed well. My hair and makeup lasted all night long, through eating and drinking, and of course dancing the night away. The girls showed up early to our venue to begin the getting ready process. They were a fun addition to the day. I cannot thank Brittany and Val enough. You guys made me so beautiful on my wedding day. I highly recommend the Makeup lounge

She was so accommodating, flexible, and kind. I am not the kind of girl to wear a lot of make-up and she worked with me until I found my perfect bridal look. Brittany did my makeup for my wedding on 9/9/17. I can’t begin to say how amazing Brittany is not only as a person but as a professional and an artist. She always showed up on time, she’s personable, kind, and really just a pleasure to have worked with. Brittany exceeded my expectations! She made sure to really listen and make my makeup vision come to life. And my makeup lasted all day which was a big concern of mine. Brittany also did my bridal parties makeup. And they looked stunning! I would definitely recommend having Brittany do your makeup for your special day or special occasion. Brittany was absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing, and I couldn't recommend her more! As someone who doesn't typically wear a lot of makeup, Brittany did an amazing job making sure I looked gorgeous but still like 'myself', and my bridesmaids were so thrilled with their looks as well! She was incredibly organized and guided me through the entire process- especially leading up to my wedding week, so I could just completely trust that she had everything on lock (even if I was too busy to make sure). The Make-Up Lounge team is incredible! Brittany and her assistant glammed me and 11 other ladies/girls for my wedding on 5/31/19. Everyone looked stunning! The team embodies true talent and professionalism. Brittany was always incredibly responsive to my emails, questions, and was invested in making sure that I felt beautiful on the big day. We had a variety of ages (3 to 69), skin tones (fair to medium brown), and makeup styles - the girls nailed it with everyone in the wedding party. Choosing a make-up artist for your wedding can be intimidating... If you choose The Make-Up Lounge, you won't regret it.

I absolutely loved every single experience I have had with The Makeup Lounge! From my bridal hair and makeup trial to my amazing lash extensions for my bridal shower, my bachelorette weekend and my wedding, to the actual best day of my life, Brittany and her team did EVERYTHING right. All of the girls are so sweet, extremely talented and professional! I have actually never been more beautiful than they made me on my wedding day. All of my bridesmaids and the moms loved their looks (which is INCREDIBLE because 4 of the 7 never wear ANY makeup and Brittany and her team really put everyone at ease and made them feel and look their best)! I never wear any makeup so I was nervous about looking like myself on my wedding day, but Brittany and Val really understood that and listened to me and gave me super beautiful natural glam, which was exactly what I wanted! They were so amazing to work with, showed up early, had everything staged and ready to go, and made and kept up to our schedule, finishing 7 ladies in full hair and makeup early! They were the easiest and least stressful part of my wedding day and I can not recommend them enough. Brittany always answered my emails promptly, even when her own wedding was only weeks away. So responsive and professional, which is very hard to come by! Pricing was VERY reasonable compared to others in the Saratoga-area and for the experience you’re getting, they are the ONLY choice! The shop is adorable, the ladies are fabulous and you will not regret booking them! You will look incredible, they are the best at what they do

I cannot say enough about The Makeup Lounge LLC. My experience working with Brittany was above and beyond my expectation for a vendor. Her as well as her entire team were kind, personable and professional. A fear I had the morning of my wedding was that I did not have time to do a makeup trial prior and wasn't sure how I would look. That fear faded fast as soon as I sat in the chair. The girls made me feel comfortable and at ease and even better, they made me look absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It was exactly how I could ever hope to look on the best day of my life. Myself as well as my bridesmaids received ENDLESS compliments about our flawless makeup and the Lashes that were to die for. I would choose Brittany and her team 1000 times over to look and feel as good as I did on my Wedding Day. I will forever be grateful!

After a bad makeup trial with another artist, I restarted my search and found Brittany at The Makeup Lounge. Even prior to my trial Brittany was super responsive and helpful in helping me figure out my look and discussing colors. During my trial I showed Brittany photos of my bad trial and also showed her photos of what I decided on based on our conversation online. I can't tell you how relieved I was when my trial was done and I looked in the mirror and everything was perfect. Brittany did exactly what I wanted and even more. For other events I've had makeup artists who have done lack luster jobs worse than I can do my own makeup or just not accentuated the right features knowing my face best. Brittany knew exactly what to do and everything was amazing. I can't recommend her more. She was super friendly and incredibly responsive. I wanted to not start doing makeup so early so we added another one of her team members to come do makeup on the day - Valerie. Both of their work was incredible. I can't recommend Brittany enough. If I could give 100 stars, I would! Brittany and Val were absolutely amazing! They made me and my girls so stunningly beautiful and we had such a short amount of time to get ready! They did it all and they did it FLAWLESSLY. Brittany is also SO responsive to every email from the beginning. She was prompt, on time and ready to hit the road running the day of. Our makeup stayed on (EVEN lipstick) the ENTIRE night even through all the tears! She also surprised me with a little gift and handwritten note that made me tear up! Awesome work, sweet and genuine people. 100% would recommend over and over and over again! THANK YOU BRITTANY FOR MAKING ME FEEL ABSOLUTELY STUNNING ON MY BIG DAY!

I first met Brittany at a bridal show not too long after getting engaged. She was probably the first person I connected with that gave me the feeling of ease while at the beginning stages of planning a wedding. Needless to say after seeing pictures of her work and seeing/talking with her one more time, I knew without a doubt she would make me look gorgeous on my special day! I felt and looked even more amazing than I had imagined! Brittany was more than just another person that was there to help glam me up for my wedding. She is a very knowledgeable person who has been in and around the wedding business to bounce ideas off of. She kept things moving right along on my wedding day, too. I recall us all laughing about how we were ACTUALLY ahead of schedule at one point of the morning! She is professional, very organized, and has amazing skills! From my make-up trial to the day of, asking to switch a few things up a bit with my colors, she rolled with the day without hesitation. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help glam-up myself and my beautiful bridesmaids. When looking for a makeup artist you want to be sure that your vision is not only heard but met. Brittany and her team are awesome. They were extremely punctual on the day of and she is amazing at responding to my emails! Brittany listened to exactly what I wanted for my bridal look and I couldn't have been happier with how my makeup came out. It was perfect and I felt beautiful. All my bridesmaids looked amazing and they were all so happy with their makeup. I was recommended by a friend and I am so happy that I chose Brittany for my makeup artist.
