Hey, I’m Chelsey Jaye aka blujayehair, I have 12 years of experience in the bridal industry. My favorite styles to do are sleek, smooth, simple updos and glam Hollywood waves. I treat every bride like a bff so you can feel totally calm and comfortable on your wedding day knowing your girl has your back! We’ll laugh, we’ll cry, and we’ll jam to 2000s hip hop. I look forward to making your Pinterest board bridal dreams come true! Ps. I truly apologize in advance for raiding your cheese table the morning of your wedding day. Also if I hear the words “let’s go girls” from “Man! I feel like a women” by Shania twain, I can’t promise to not flip a table or 2.
Valerie King
Valerie has been in the bridal industry for 7 years. She is always up for a challenge and strives to combine your vision with her technical skills to create a one-of-a-kind look for your big day. Consider her to be your personal hype girl! When she isn't in the salon or working weddings, you can find her snuggling her feline bestie- Catrick Swayze, going out for craft beers with her fiancé, watering her houseplants, spending quality time with family and friends, reading a good book, or creating new pizza combinations in the kitchen. One of her core beliefs is that love is love no matter your gender, race, size or form. Everyone deserves to feel their absolute best on their wedding day.
Heather White
Libra, Denim, Glitter Obsessed, and loves long walks down the makeup isles. She began her career with colorful looks and Special FX with photographers but fell in love with the trends of glam/beauty. Heather has worked professionally under well-known cosmetic brands since 2011 when she started with Benefit Cosmetics. Since then, she has been the lead artist for the American Heart Association 6 years in a row, traveled across the US with Loreal for National Events, and some of her work has been published in elite magazines nationwide. Heather thrives on keeping up with the latest trends and styles to make her guests feel and look their best.
Kennedy Mascord
Kennedy is a licensed cosmetologist who was born and raised in Mechanicville, New York. Kennedy’s upbeat and positive personality and proficiency in Bridal updos is what landed her one of the hairstylist positions at The Lounge before even graduating from hair school. Since graduating cosmetology school, Kennedy has developed a passion for the bridal industry. She loves to make people feel their best, especially on such an important day. Kennedy loves seeing everyone’s excitement as everything comes together. She falls in love with her craft more and more every day and is excited to bring all of your hair visions to life.
Shelby Viars
Shelby is a licensed cosmetologist in both NY and CT and has been in the hair industry for 10 years. Shelby graduated from Paul Mitchell the School in 2013. After several years of being behind the chair, Shelby realized her true passion was creating formal styles. Being a bride herself, she knew she wanted to be a part of other brides' special days. Shelby is a military spouse and a mom of two little boys. When she is not working a wedding you can find Shelby attending and taking master classes to further her bridal education. Shelby's passion is to strive and make every bride feel beautiful and confident on their wedding morning.
Brittany Lanning
Brittany found her love for makeup in 2011 when she first trained with beauty guru, Danielle Doyle. Her love only grew as she continued to train with some of the industry's best including Yuko Takahashi. Over the years, she perfected the in's and out's of makeup artistry through pageants and bridal parties, and has learned the importance of makeup looking beautiful up close, but also on stage and photography. Brittany has been working with LC Beauty Co since 2018. Having 2 girls of her own, her favorite part of the wedding morning is watching the interaction between the mother and bride - a moment she can't wait to share.
Toni Bryden
Hello lovies, my name is Toni Bryden. I'm a wife, furbaby mom, and mother of two beautiful children. I am passionate about creating art on the best canvases ever, your face!
